Indea Group is a business group with a presence in Spain, Morocco, and Mexico. It is one of the leading companies in its sector nationally. Its activities range from the study, design, construction, and repair of industrial tooling projects to the manufacture of thermoplastic materials, mainly for the automotive industry.
The group has a track record of almost four decades as a Tier 1 and Tier 2 supplier to the automotive sector. Over the years, it has pursued a growth strategy based on vertical integration. It covers several links in the value chain of the automotive components sector, from the design of molds and their manufacture (tooling) to the manufacture and assembly of plastic parts.
The products it manufactures (molds and plastic parts) are mainly supplied to the automotive sector and become part of the vehicles manufactured by the most important builders in the sector such as Audi, Ford, PSA Group, VW Group, Mercedes-Benz, Honda, Renault, etc.
Indea Group currently has a team of over 300 people.
Its management model is based on Lean Manufacturing methodology, also known as lean production, which focuses on delivering maximum added value to its customers on its products, using resources efficiently and sustainably.
It holds the UNE-EN-ISO 9001:2015 'Quality Management Systems', UNE-EN ISO 14001:2015 'Environmental Management Systems' and IATF 16949:2016 'Automotive Quality Management Systems' certifications that endorse its management model.
We have more than three decades of activity in research, development, and innovation, with nearly 2,000 molds designed, manufactured, and delivered, as well as a large number of industrial processes developed and injection-molded parts manufactured. 1984
Previously known as Hispamoldes, it was founded in 1984, as the germ of an automotive sector business group.
Its production model is based on a circuit that starts with data reception and ends with the final product, using leading technology systems.

In 1988, Indea Moldes inaugurated its first injection mold design and manufacturing center for plastics.

Previously known as Hispaplasti, it was founded in 1990. Later, in 2002, it moved to a new and modern production center for thermoplastic parts.
1998
Previously known as Plásticos de Palencia, it was founded in 1998 to meet the demand for plastic parts manufacturing and serial supply.
2002
A new and modern production center for thermoplastic parts, mainly supplying the automotive industry. It is dedicated to the design and construction of injection molds for thermoplastics, in response to a new business opportunity to meet certain demands for plastic parts manufacturing and serial supply.
2012
Previously known as Hispamoldes Tánger, it began its activity in 2012 with the inauguration of a mold factory in the free zone of Tánger, Morocco. It has an area of 4,400m2 distributed over two floors, where they have 20 injection presses with a closing pressure of 28 to 1,000 tons.
2015
Previously known as Moldes de México, it started operating in 2015 as a mold trader for the group in the American continent.
2019
In 2019, the facilities were expanded and currently have a built area of 8,000m2 with 19 injection presses, complemented by a paint booth and an auxiliary assembly facility. A modern factory capable of integrating in the product and process development, as well as customer production and logistics. Indea, previously Indea Inversiones en Automoción, was established in 2019. Its corporate purpose is the acquisition and administration of securities and shares in the capital of entities and the financing of the entities in which it participates, as well as the provision of complementary services.
2020
In 2020, QIA ID and QIA Servicios para automoción were established, now Indea R&D and Indea SPA respectively, two key companies in the group's strategy in its commitment to innovation, based in Ourense.
2022
Sapa Group acquires a majority stake in Quarza, Indea Group (former Hispamoldes Group).
